No. 2 - The Eclipse
$420.00 CAD
The Form A study in mechanical agency. Two rotating quarter-spheres rest inside a brass ring, allowing the user to physically reshape the object. By rotating the shades, the light can be directed upwards, downwards, or split asymmetrically. It is not a static lamp; it is an instrument that changes phases like the moon.
The Matter
- Structure: Brass-plated Steel.
- Diffuser: Inner white lacquer for light reflection.
- Mechanism: 360° rotating shades within a fixed ring.
- Power: Rechargeable Lithium-Ion (USB-C).
- Dimensions: Ø15cm x 22cm H.
- Interface: Touch dimmer (Base-mounted).
The Mood This object asks to be touched. It is the "fidget spinner" of the collection—a tactile, heavy, satisfying piece of machinery. In "Down" mode, it is a reading light. In "Up" mode, it is an ambient candle. In "Asymmetric" mode, it is a piece of sculpture. It gives the Subject full control over the atmosphere.
