No. 4 - The Echo
$320.00 CAD
The Form A study in reflection. Two rigid hemispheres face one another—the upper double the size of the lower. This geometric relationship hides the bulb completely, forcing the light to bounce off the interior surfaces before escaping. It is a mathematical embrace; two halves making a whole.
The Matter
- Structure: Deep-drawn Steel.
- Finish: High-Gloss Lacquer (Dark Green).
- Dimensions: Ø23cm.
- Cord: Color-matched textile cable (3m).
- Socket: E26.
The Mood While the rest of the collection is about "atmosphere," Object No. 4 is about "focus." The opaque metal shade drives the light directly downwards, creating a tight pool of intimacy. It is designed to be hung low—in rows over a kitchen island or singly over a bedside table. It adds a glossy, saturated "wet" look to the texture of a room.
The Note
- Color: The "Dark Green" is a specific archival hue, chosen to recede into the shadows of a dark room rather than pop brightly.
- Disclaimer: This object is a faithful reproduction of mid-century design principles. It is not affiliated with the original manufacturer.
